Barcelona news: Lionel Messi 'approves Mohamed Salah and Ousmane Dembele transfer plan'

Liverpool star Salah has been linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid giving his stunning exploits this season.

The Egypt international has netted 44 goals across all competitions as the Reds have reached the Champions League final.

Barcelona’s interest in Salah appears to have cooled given their pursuit of Atletico’s Antoine Griezmann.

But Spanish outlet Don Balon say Messi has approved a stunning transfer for the Liverpool star.
It is claimed doubts about Griezmann are beginning to creep in over at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona have been in pole position to sign the France international ever since he saw a move to Manchester United fall through last summer.

But that decision could change and, though Barcelona admire Kylian Mbappe, they also feel Salah would do a similar job.

The report suggests Messi thinks Barcelona should offer Dembele to Liverpool to tempt their hand.
The France star has toiled in Catalonia ever since his £134million move from Borussia Dortmund last year.

However, speaking recently, Barcelona appeared to rule out selling Dembele this summer.

 Messi continued:-

 “When a player comes to Barcelona, it's because Valverde wants them,” he said, dismissing claims Dembele’s signing was actually a board decision.

"He [Dembele] is still very young, a bet for the future, not for immediate performances.
“We have to give him time. If he didn't play one game, he will play in others.
“We have high hopes for him at the club."
